update on Joan M

Just an update...I have taken 3 gas-x and two prevacid. I also laid down with heating pad on tummy...thanks to whoever told me to do that. I am sitting for the first time since this afternoon because of the pain. I am afraid it may be another ulcer. Dr. S told me to go to ER if feeling worse but I learned the last time not to go when Dr. S isn't in the house because they do not treat GB patients the way they should...sorry but true. So if not better by morning I will call Dr. S and ask if he can admit me for tests and fluid. I am having trouble now taking fluids in and we all know what happens when that starts. Been there done that do not want repeat! I am just overwhelmed by the caring responses I have received from the boards I frequent. Everyone has been so supportive and thoughtful...I cried when DD told me I had so many emails she couldn't count them...smile...So I am posting this message as update on each board.
