Hello April Pals. Ok....I never thought I would say this, but I miss my 118 pounds in these below zero temps! I am freezing my ass off! ANYONE ELSE??? Doctor says it will be a year before my internal themometer catches up! Figures it has to happen with the coldest February on record in years in Toledo! YIKS!!!!! I had to buy thermals and I actually have to sleep with clothes on now! This is nuts! I am almost into the 70's (183). That is...like 118 pounds from my highest weight. 22 pounds from doctor's goal - 32 pounds from mine! HOLY CRAP! I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE IT!

You're doing great! I'm in Buffalo, NY so we're pretty darn cold here too. I don't care how cold I get, I don't miss any of the weight I lost . I drink a lot of hot decaf tea and sugar free hot cocoa. Lizzie

I just bought my first teapot! Hot tea helps. I sure don't miss breaking out in a sweat from brushing my hair or struggling with a shirt over my head.

Way to go on the weightloss!! That is awesome. I too feel like I will NEVER EVER EVER be warm again. I'm sitting here wearing a pair of gloves, a fleece coat, scarf, plus my jeans and sweater, thick socks and shoes...and the thermostat says 75 degrees. I live in Tennessee and is much warmer here... 34 degrees...I feel sorry for the folks up north. I know I probably couldn't live any more north than I am LOL I can't wait for spring!

Honey, I second the freezing my A$$ off. We will ever see warm weather again? It sure doesnt feel like it. I am like Lizzie though I dont care how cold I get I dont miss the 130 lbs I have lost. I can just put on more clothes, I havent bought thermals yet, mostly the only thing that is cold on me is my feet during the day and then when I get to bed that is usually the only thing warm on me, I have to snuggle into the nice warm blankets. This is the first time that I have had to have 3 blankets on the bed. Usually I only had one, and a comforter, but not anymore. My dogs usually sleep by my feet that may be why the are usually the warmest. . Hope everyone finds a way to stay warm until it starts warming up. Kathleen

You aren't the only one freezing, I bought a twin size electric blanket for my side of the bed because my husband is a furnace and is always hot. Right now I'm watching tv while using my laptop, and I have a long sleeve shirt, fleece vest, and a heavy sweater on, long pants, socks and a heavy blanket over myself. But I never will miss all those extra pounds. Congrat's on your super weight loss. Sher

I am sitting at work with a heater under my desk. My co worker is out of the office so I have her heater pointing in my direction and I have on a extra sweater. My coworkers bought me a blanket that you wrap around you and your arms stick out just for the office thats on. For Christmas my kids got me an heated throw blanket and hubby got me a new electric blanket for my bed. It is crazy how cold we get! Hubby redid some of our heating vents at home so we could get more heat from our woodstove that we haven't used in over 5 years! It is now going full force! It was 80 in my house last night with FREE heat! (well free after the sweat of cutting the wood but hey that is exercise) Keep warm everyone!

Oh I hear you. I am so sick of these negative degree days and yucky windchill factors, I have been hinting to my husband to move somewhere WARM! Kim M.
