Well Darla my surgery date twin! You are doing great and I know you feel so wonderful. The changes are incredible aren't they? I know when I where size 8's I can't believe it but I read the tags and they say 8...now I don't wear 8 jeans...never was a jean girl before and too old to start now I think. But my dress wool Alfred Dunner's fit and they are 8's. Wow, on your weekend of WOW's.... Joan M

Ok, my wow moment for..... well it could be the rest of my life.....i had to buy new jeans for a new job , and i have been wearing a 3 since my plastics. they have gotten loose and i had to go down to a 0. a ZERO ppl. i just sat down on the dressing room floor and cried. this is the greatest blessing that i have ever been given, to be "normal" for my size and bone structure. it is amazing. my head has not caught all the way up and there are days that i feel like the old me, but for the most part i am doing well. i am so proud of all of us. we have come so far, and it isnt even our year yet!!! take care of yourselves....all of you~ jen

I would have cried too! You could be a model! I bet you never thought you could walk into the tiny teen clothing store or BEBE or any designer store in the mall and buy whatever you want! That's crazy! Congratulations!!!!

My latest WOW moment came last week while I was grocery shopping. As I stood in front of the green beans and was picking out the ones I wanted I felt like someone was staring at me and turned to see. There stood an old friend who I hadn't seen since I had surgery. She was with her husband and told me she wasn't sure if it was me, she discussed it with her husband and when I turned they realized yes it was me. She said she didn't recognize me, she was use to seeing me drive the motorized cart to do my shopping which I haven't had to use for the past eight months and seeing a slimmer person up walking, pushing a grocery cart made her question if she knew who that person was.. It is sure great to have these wow moments! Sher

What great wow moments- I have had a few this week about my size, my own Aunt didn't realize I was me til I said hi to her....I haven't seen her since summer so she is excused! I got a lot of wow's at a funeral yesterday from other family members.... But the best one came from the funeral director came up to me and told me he was going to put some rocks in my pockets- I laughed and he said your going to blow away soon!!!! I was on a cloud considering he is a exercise freak, he runs miles a day and watches everything he eats. Bless his heart he made my WEEK! Keep it up everyone!

I loved reading everyone's wow moments. Nobody has said they don't recognize me, but my kids have both said that when they are in the store and they look for me, sometimes they miss me because they're still not used to seeing a smaller me. But my wow moment was fitting into a pair of jeans that have not fit in 17 years. They are a bit tight, but they zipped and buttoned up. The last time I remember wearing these pants was when we were in Peru in 1989 visiting my husband's family. I'll have to find the pictures and scan and upload them and take a new one and compare! Mind you, they are bright yellow, but they fit! I was telling my 16 year old son that my pants are older than he is! Congrats to everyone on our continued success! Sue
