WOW moment Monday

Ok, its Monday. To give us all a good start to the week, everyone post your most recent WOW moment. You are all such an inspiration and believe it or not, you do help keep me on track. Thanks guys!!! Jenn My WOW moment: getting a free t-shirt at the movies in an XL and being so happy that it wouldn't fit! I right there at the theater!

Yayy for wow moments!!! My wow moment is the scale FINALLY moved after several weeks. I've had longer stalls than that, but this is just so much more aggravating and frustrating when it doesn't move quickly especially when I'm so close to being at a goal of weighing less than 200lbs by March 8th... just 10 more pounds. Also, our walmart in town has a lot of stuff on clearance...we're talking $5 for skirts, pants, tops...everything. I got into several misses 15/16 bottoms and tops, and 12/14 workout pants (stretchy material..but that doesn't matter - the tag says 12/14 LOL) I desperately need clothes to exercise in...everything is just hanging off of me and gets in the way of me doing what I need to do. But anyways, I got several pairs of the workout pants and basic tshirts. I always buy my tees in the mens section because they're usually longer in length. At one point I was buying a Men's 3X and 4X.. now, I'm wearing a men's Large.

My Wow moment just now was not recognizing April!!!! Girl you look amazing and love the new pic! Last week my daughter and I went to Denny's for breakfast...the waitress there knows me and she wasn't very friendly. When I ordered a Senior Breakfast and asked for an extra plate she said is that going to be enough food for the two of you? I said yes I can only eat a little of the egg beaters..she gave me a weird look and walked away. I said to my DD...I wonder if she is mad at me or if something is wrong. She served our food and I said to her...are you OK? You don't seem like your old self or are you upset with me...she looked at me funny and I said...you don't know me do you? She said sorry no I don't. I said wait let me show you a picture...I took one of my before pics out of my purse and she screamed....I mean screamed...OH MY GOD! I AM SOOO SORRY I DIDN'T KNOW YOU!!!! But how could I? You look entirely different. Everyone was looking and she pulled me up and hugged me and spun me around and everyone smiled. And praise teh Lord I dressed so nice that day! My size 10slacks and small top and makeup. God is good I would have died of embarressment if not. She couldn't stop commenting on it. My daughter said she was so proud of me. So if people aren't friendly...maybe they don't recognize you! Have a blessed day. Joan M

aww shucks! Thanks Joan That was such a great wow moment for you! I probably would have been embarrassed too. I get embarrassed in fact when people comment on how great I look. I guess that takes some getting use to as well.

Wow, April you look so different, and I didnt recognize you at first. Who is that person in the picture? You look great. You all do, and I am so proud to be apart of this family. I can't say that I have had any WoW moments lately, but that is okay, because I am only 7 pounds for onderland, and I will be there before March. Congradulations to everyone on their WOW moments and I know there will be plenty more. Kathleen

I had a strange WOW moment the other day. Usually around the house I wear stretchy leggings and a big sweater. I had to go to the bathroom (badly) so I ran upstairs and just pulled my pants down..... then I realized I had just pulled my size 14 jeans down easily without even undoing them I guess it's time to go get the 12! Another WOW is that after 9 months the scale is still moving I'm at 218. I'm really looking forward to it starting with a ONE soon. Lizzie

Wow Lizzie did you ever think you would pull jeans of all things down w/o unfastening them before surgery!! NOT! Yes, I say get the 12's!!! Isn't this a wonderful life? Congrats on your WOW! Joan M

Make sure you try on some 10s while you are out. You never know, you might have just skipped the 12s!

Great WOW moments everyone Congratulations to all of you Lizzie

Hi Everyone... I had Multiple WOW MOMENTS this weekend. I applogize now for the long post. I am the advisor and coach for a high school equestrian team and we had district competition this weekend. I haven't seen a lot of the people from other schools for almost a year now so I got several people coming up to be and telling me how wonderful I look and that they didn't realize who I was at first. I would have people look at me sideways like they thought I looked familiar but they just couldn't place me...! I waved at one of the fathers from my own team and once he realized who I was he said to me " I thought some young good looking girl was waving at me, boosted his ego" One lady said you look just like your daughter - she is beautiful by the way. There were vendors there selling clothing so I thought I would buy a new down vest and I tried on a small... it fit me great, but I bought a med just because I wanted to be able to wear sweatshirts under it... can you believe it, I wore three layers under that med vest and still had room for more Last year this 4 day event just killed me, this year I was running across the arena setting up events and supervising my athletes and had energy to spare. When I got home last night I was able to soak in the bathtub and did it feel great! I tried on my daughters favorite pair of size 8 jeans and I was able to get them on, zip and button them and hot damn if they didn't look great on me! there were many, many more WOW moments for the weekend and every one made me feel so wonderful about myself! Thank the lord for this wonderful new tool I have to help me be healthy and happy! Darla
