Fri. Ethel wants to know what ya eatin
I've been bad today...off schedule since I was at the doctor, and testing all day.
I've eaten out ALL day today...yuck.
So:
Breakfast @ 10am, chick-fil-a chicken nuggets
No snack
Lunch: baked fish & spinach
No snack:
Dinner: 1 small peice of cheese pizza...I will NOT do that again. Man...it tore up my stomach. I brought it home for the kids, and couldn't resist....like I said, THAT won't happen again. Blech!
Snack: small orange
Terri...welcome aboard the Ethel train!! Thanks for joining us...I think it helps us and we have fun and freidnships are formed...Girl my nutritionist said chick-fil-a is good for us (nuggets) because of the oil they use and 4 nuggets is also good for us...so Girl you did good....minus the pizza....I know it is not Ethel's favorite food at all.
So how did the testing go?

I am so bad with the carb snacks- but I haven't gained anything so to me staying the same is good! This is what I ate today with the exception of the cocoa but it is my bedtime holdover.
B- 1/2 South Beach meal bar
S- 1/2 bag 100 calorie pack choc/carmel chex mix (BAD but oh so good)
L- potluck at work
1/2 cup chili
5 cubes of cheese
2 small carrots
a scoop of spinch dip and a few wheat crackers
S-the other 1/2 bag of chex mix
S-handful of baked bbq lays
S-1/2 bag of chex yet again
D-5 oz of baked salmon
Before bed will be hot cocoa with protein powder in it with my vitamins......
Girlfriend...be careful...those carbs can sneek up on you and bam! You are in a stall.
Good deal on the protein and cocoa....and I love those cubes of cheese...don't you?
Still can't do chili...barf for sure...Ethel is just sooo finicky...I read where people eat Wendy's chili on pureed diet and I can't even eat it now after 9 months!
Can you eat shrimp? That is really good for protein and not a huge quantity gives a lot.
Although I have to say...the Chex stuff sounds good enough to eat...but if I read the label and it is more than 5grams fat or sugar then I put it back because I get scared...I know I was a carb addict before.

I have been away from the board for sooooo long...maybe I should start checking in daily again to post foods...maybe that will keep me on track since I am off track alot of days!
B- about 1 cup of froot loop cereal with 1/2 cup milk
L- 2 cups of chicken noodle soup (I eat this daily usually for both meals)
S- 3 miniature reeses cups (taste good but makes me tired...but I eat them daily now! I am trying to STOP)
D- will be having about 1 cup of chilli
s- popcorn is my usual or cut up tomatoes/cucumbers
On the good side...I have lost exactly what I now weigh...I weigh 116.5 pounds and I have lost a total of 116.5 pounds...that is showing that I am doing something right!!!!

Your stats say you're doing great but I see what you mean about being off track. I have to keep my carbs in check, the bad for you white ones have been sneaking back in a little at a time. We have to be careful.... at first we'll lose pretty much no matter what we do but after a certain amount of time we can gain weight back if we haven't instilled good habits.
