Girl I am sooo glad I read this post here after reading the one sent to me..the format here is much better...I read...24oz sushi water.... and thought no wonder it is hard going! Just a little messed up punctuation can change the whole meal around can't it!!! OK when you measure the potatoes...do you use regular Tablespoon and flat measurement? Can someone teach me...I am going to have a talk with nutritionist this week and make sure I am not tooo legalistic in the food area....I know I am a rule follower and I can sometimes not be lenient enough. Have a blessed day and boy am I glad I don't have to drink sushi water!!!! Joan M

I use my normal spoon set. I take the bigger of the two (table spoon, soupspoon whatever) and use it to scoop out 2-3. I am trying to only put on my plate what I will eat. Its just so ingrained in my head "CLEAN PLATE CLUB" that I usually finish what's on my plate.

I'm glad your headahe is gone I think it came over here I went to the Dr. today, it was already scheduled to talk about my back problems. I told him I had a headache and my ear felt plugged so he looked and I have ear infections. I have some prescriptions to take and some pain meds for my back. I have to go for Xrays on my back to make sure my problems haven't progressed and then Physical Therapy ... ugh.... B = ON Whey protein shake with cocoa powder and instant decaf coffee S = Peanut butter on wheat crackers L = a scrambled egg with cheese on top S = ON Whey protein shake made with grape propel D = 2 pizza rolls (not the best choice I'm having a Creative Memories party tonight and they're my snack food so I grabbed two for dinner just now) S = ON Whey protein shake with pumpkin (I have to have at least one a day with pumpkin because it helps me not be constipated) Lizzie

Wow...you are really going through some stuff now...but you are still doing good food wise.......girl I understand the constipation..I have started making homemade chicken soup with fresh zuchinni, mushrooms, onion, celery and boneless skinless chicken thighs! Yum....and I get vegies and it is hot...double yummm. Hope the pain and infections are cleared up soon. Joan M

Thanks Joan My constipation is much better now that I put canned pumpkin in my protein drinks. The fiber in there really helps. Your soup sounds yummy! My Primary Dr. thinks the exercises I was doing as PT for my knees and some of the weight machines I was doing at the gym were aggravting my back which is why I've been having such a hard time with it lately. I have quite a few problems with my back so he's sending me to Physical Therapy for my back and my knees and also to give me a weight routine that I can do without hurting myself. I'm sure the headache/sinus/earache stuff will go away as soon as I get on my antibiotics and ear drops. Hubby is bringing them home on the way home from hockey later this morning so I'll be doing better shortly I try to stay away from carbs that aren't whole grain but that seems to be my weak point. I do very well never eating sugar but it's a struggle to stay away from the carbs. Sometimes I think I'm doing better than I am too so I like this thread. Like when I put that I had the pizza rolls yesterday and that wasn't a good choice I thought... hmmm I remember posting something else recently that wasn't a good choice, I better watch myself. You know when I went to pt for my rotator cuffthey had elastic bands that I used and it was better than using weights. Yes, this really helps me to see the days when I do not have enough food...I was deciving myself thinking if I ate the protein (or drank it) I was OK but then some days my calories weren't even 500. Not a good thing at 9 months. Thanks for joining in and try and rest when you get the meds so they can work better. Joan M

Sher...you do so well and exercise too. I need to lift weighs so badly...but torn rotator cuff makes that hard to do. But I do walk.... Where do you find your FF and LF cheeses? I have a hard time finding mine...but I usually shop at Walmart or Aldi's. I eat SF coffee flavored candies I find at Dollar Tree, They also have Werthers. Joan M
