I'm getting a puppy :)

As some of you may know, we recently had to euthanize Toby our 13 yr old Retriever/Newfoundland mix because he was in so much pain from arthritis and could no longer get around. My 15 yr old son is absolutely heartbroken and keeps asking for a puppy. We're total animal nuts over here... apparently I live to vacuum since I have 4 cats and two dogs and I'm contemplating adding another dog. We're going to look at him on Saturday and I'm pretty certain we're going to get him. We'll be able to bring him home on February 11th. We've already named him, the place is holding him for us so unless they find something wrong with him at the vet, he's ours. We named him Finian which means "fair or pale" (Gaelic) he's the only blonde out of the litter, all the other ones are black or charcoal grey. I hope things check out ok on Finian, he is adorable. We are dog lovers too. My husband said to me once spell dog backward it's god, they are our precious little gaurdians and companians. I am sure you will get a lot of love from him. Sher

He's a daschund / poodle mix. His hair will get a little longer. He won't get to be bigger than 15 lbs. It's kind of a crap shoot as to exactly what he'll look like though since he's a mix. Lizzie

I never saw either of those dogs in there but he will be wonderful. I have 2 doxies and they are so funny! I know you guys will enjoy and spoil him! Julia

He looks like part ****er spaniel. You sure that he is mixed with that? I dont see dachands in him at all, but who knows, lol. He is a cutie. You know girl you should undate your profile, but in a new pictures of you in the aviatar. You look great. Good luck with the new puppy. Love Kathleen

O.K, I have gone back and looked at Finian again and now I see the Doxie. No poodle though. I looked back at my Doxies baby pictures and I can see his ears are low on his head and they don't start to look long like a doxie for awhile. Definitley post his on-growing pictures for us!!! Lizzie how cute and my 14 yr old DD said I want a puppy when she looked at Finian. Thanks....we have a 17 yr old Lhaso Ahpso who is blind and going deaf....and she wants a dog that will play. I just looked at your pics in your profile...I never saw your before pic before....I would nevr have recognized you from that...wow you are just blossoming like that little yellow flower you were holding in the other pic.
