Sat Ethel wants to know what ya eatin
Good Saturday morning everyone. Well, I lost a pound when I got on the scale this morning at 5:30am. Can't sleep...too many people to pray for to stay in bed...my heart is heavy for a friend who lost her Mother and the viewiing is this evening and funeral is tomorrow. I am making a meal and dessert for them today for tomorrow and I am busy with getting taxes ready to prepare. So I really need to plan my meals for today or they will go by the wayside and I won't eat.
So here is what I plan for Ethel today...
B - fit & active egg substitute 1/4 serving 30 0 1 6
w/Cheese, Cheddar shredded lowfat 30 1 0 4
S - Body Fortress Protein Powder serving 111 3 2 23
L - FF Cottage cheese serving 90 0 7 14
D - 2oz pork tenderloin 65 1 2 11
Beans, green, canned, 1/2 C 14 0 3 1
S - Body Fortress Protein Powder serving 111 3 2 23
Totals 450 9 16 80
Need to try to boost the calories so will work on that....not sure how...any ideas?

Joan, Try to make time for yourself, remember to help others you need to take care of yourself too.
As for increasing your calories, Are you taking in any other types of foods besides proteins? Are you too full to eat more than you do? There are many healthy fruits and vegetables that can be included in our diet along with whole grain products, these would boost your calorie intake.

I forgot to list my food for today.
So here it is
B- 60 cal yogurt smoothy
L-high protien bar
S- 3 oz pot roast, a few baby carrots and 1/2 small potato
s- fiber one cereal.
shouldn't of had so much of the cereal though, like to munch on it dry.
decaf coffee
I need to watch out for any old grazing habits that occur and stop them right away.
