Thank you Kathleen, I wish I could afford a parrot. . My first sun conure is about 4 years old now, we have had her since she was 4 months old, the one I got last week is allegedly 18 months old. We bought if from a newpaper, the family had small children and wanted to get rid of it for that reason. I am haveing DNA done on it on monday to find out the sex, also getting toes and wings clipped, this one is a real flyer and im afraid it will fly out the door or hit something hard. I leave their cage doors open, they come and go as they please, real people birds, both of them and they complete our family.
Yes Sharon we are almost there, its been quit a ride hasnt it? I never really had a before pic, just my 4 month out pic but theres still a difference I think. Ive got alot of skin issues, my surgeon is guessing between 20 and 30 lbs of skin but Im not sure if or when I will deal with that. Im scared.
