Hello April people....what ya planning on eating today. I find that if I enter it on Fitday.com or write it in journal I have better idea at what my counts are for the day and it really helps to get the protein. Also, we can get ideas for new food choices from others..so join with us and let Ethel know...what ya eatin? My plan for today: Today's Foods Food Name Serving Size Cals Fat Carb Prot Cream of Wheat 3 tblsp 120 0 23 4 Milk, nonfat 1 cup 86 0 12 8 Body Fortress Protein 2 serving 222 6 3 45 SF Vanilla Creamer 1 T 15 1 1 0 cottage cheese LF 3ozl 60 1 5 9 SF blackberry jam 1T. 10 0 3 0 protein bar 1 Bar 138 5 12 10 salad, tossed 1cup 22 0 4 2 Totals 673 14 62 78 I am scared of the carbs but maybe that is why I am having hard time w/no potty...so I am upping a little in carbs to see if it helps. I so can not plan my food out for the day- I can bring something to work to eat and then by noon change my mind. So for today so far I ate 1/2 of South Beach protein bar- 105 cal 10 protein 1 slice homemade beef jerky-??? guess about 10 protein I did drink 20 oz's of H2O already and 18 oz's of Fuze so that is a good thing AND......I worked out this morning!!!! 40 minutes!!!!!!! I think I am going to make BBQ chicken on the grill tonight, it is still like 40 outside with no snow in the middle of winter in Michigan that just isn't right! But it works for me cause I can still walk and do stuff outside! Have an awesome day everyone!

Today: B- advent edge chocolate protein shake 15g protein S- 2oz cheese and 4 pretzels 14g protein L- south beach Orange Beef 260cal 26g protein S- either a breakfast burrito (south beach) or more cheese and pretzels (about 14g) D- chicken breast and peas 27g protein S- protein shake IDS powder 30g protein totals- 126g protein water, so far - 29oz (need more!!) exercise: last night elliptical and weights, tonight, walking

Jenn, You do great...I homeschool my daughter and am compulive organizer...so that is why....trust me it is not easy and just because something is "planned" does not mean Ethel will eat it that day...she gets fussy sometimes...like with meat last night...didn't agree and came back up. So even the best laid plans can go astray with our new boss "the pouch". Wow, I wish I could do more weights but my torn rotator cuff after I started back doing walk away the pounds with the weighted balls. So I don't know whether to pu**** or not. My surgeon wanted me to have surgery on it but I chickened out and have been praying for the Lord to heal it. Just have no peace about the surgery. Have a great day. In Him, Joan M
