Dull ache when eating or drinking only

Hey folks, I had two days this last week when I vomited. Now whenever I drink or eat my stomach hurts at that moment only. If I take tiny sips of beverage it doesn't though. Any thoughts? Kim M.

Hi Kim.. Call your Dr, may be something they need to check out. You may want to give your pouch a little break and go back to the soft foods, sf jello, cream of wheat, scrambled eggs...just an idea. Darla

Yeah I would call your doctor, you might have a blockage. It might be serious, if it isnt then you will have a peace of mind. Good luck Kathleen

I'm not having the dull ache but I had a TERRIBLE dumping episode two nights ago. And it wasn't from eating anything I wasn't supposed to. No clue what caused it but it was in the middle of the night (I know it's gross but I even wrote a post about it in my profile). Since it lasted so long, my entire stomach area including my hiatal hernia and insides/outsides feel like someone's taken a bat to me. Depending on how long your episode lasted, maybe it just pulled everything and it's sore?? I spoke to a nurse at my gym last night and she said I'll have to be careful that my new pouch doesn't slip in the whole/ hernia, especially with so much pressure from vomiting. I'd definitely say if it continues, call your surgeon.
