My Disney Trip: Welp, I am back from Disney and I have had an amazing time! Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would out walk my husband! My feet never hurt. Even after hours and hours of walking. My husband who is in shape and walks a lot was so tired he had to lay down as soon as we got back to the hotel one night. He just could not believe I could out walk him. Even with a blister on my toe from newer shoes, I was still the little energizer bunny! It was great! As for the food! Well, we did the meal plan so we could get dinner and tickets to most shows. By the 3rd day, I was so sick of the food I did not want to eat anymore! Unbelievable! Just mounds and mounds of food! We could not eat it all. We left with 6 Quick services and 2 table services and a bunch of snacks on our cards still. At one point, I was so sick of the food I just ordered a coffee and pulled out a protein bar...hahahahaha. So, if you are going to Disney, you may want to rethink the meal plan. No matter what, you will need to use table services for the Character dinners and I do believe this still saved us a lot of cash. No matter how much or little you eat, you still get charged the same. They won't let you charge as a child. I just tried to stick with peel and eat shrimp, meats, protein, whatever was part of my diet, which was not much, so I did not touch it. I did not get to do to many rides as the parks were full, but I am happy to say my butt fit into the plane, the rides and much more! I was very pleased with my over all health and shape! I would not have been able to do this at 300+ pounds! That is for sure. I am also glad to say I lost over my vacation. Not much, just 1.5 pounds maybe 2, but fluctuates. I thought I would have lost more because of all my walking, but I did not???? Go figure. So, my New Years resolution??? To exercise more!

Last year before my surgery I ate my way through Disney on the meal plan. I have often wondered if we would do that again now that I eat like a bird. Even when my family ate at full pace, there was always way too much food there. I am so glad that you had an amazing time. Disney is so much fun. Where did you stay on property and did you like it? We stayed at Carribbean Beach, but were barely there. We only slept a little and then ran again. I will go again as soon as I can afford it. Kim M.

Hey Shel, Thanks for the tip on the meal plan. I'd love to go to Disney World now that I can walk more. disneyland was cool, but it just doesn't pack the punch that the Orlando park does. Did you stick to the Magic Kingdom or try Epcot and Animal Kingdom too? I always loved Epcot. Anyways, welcome home, happy new year, and congrats on the loss! Jenn
