Yesterday was not a good day for me to be posting but here goes: I don't count calories or fat, the only things I look at are sugar and protein. I am not the best at the protein but if it has more than 5 grams of sugar for the most part I stay away from it. I don't measure my food when I hiccup I am done, some days that takes longer than others and someday I may pay for that but for now it works...... B- Brown Sugar/Maple Syrup weight control oatmeal with a scoop of protein powder added to it and a bit of s/f maple syrup for flavor. (first time I ever ate the whole package-kinda freaked me out) But I was good until lunch then L- a few bites of ham, wheat thins with spinach dip, and a few bites beef jerky S- a few bites of beef jerky D-a bbq rib, a small chunck of turkey, a few bites of stuffing and a few bites of s/f choc. pie S-a few more bites of s/f choc. pie and 3 left over cold shrimp Fuild for the day 40 oz's water, 18 oz of Strawberrymelon Fuze, at least 20 oz's of carb smart nestle hot cocoa and 1% milk. So far today has been 1/2 kashi choc chip cookie, while driving with 10 oz water, B- Low carb slim fast 10 oz water and starting on 18oz bootle of Fuze Lunch is still unknown as is Dinner.........Didn't bring in a snack and don't want to break into my stash of protein bars so it will be fluids for a snack for me..... I am publicly admitting I did not work out at all, I have not been working out, I have been very lazy! I can't imagine how my body would be toned up if I did exericse like I should be doing but hopefully in a few months I can show you. Good luck with all our New Years Goals!

Good for you Jenni...I write down what I ate or plan to eat each day. I enter it on FitDay.com and then on the post. That way I can see if I am getting enough protein and where my weakness are. Do you use fitday.com? You can enter your favorite foods and it saves them. Joan

April, You did great and I love the cheese rounds...I never have had them. I will check for them when I go to the grocery store. Is there anywhere special you get them? Yum...Outback...haven't been since surgery. Chicken isn't my favorate now but steak does good for me. Thanks for participating. I really hope this helps all of us to get more creative and to be accountable for our food intake. In Him, Joan

I get them at walmart. They're usually in their specialty cheese case next to the deli area. They're pretty expensive in my opinion ($2.98 for 6 rounds) but I heard you can get a huge bag of them at Sam's Club though I don't know for how much. I don't have a Sam's membership. But I've lived off these things since I could have soft foods after surgery. They're little and packed full of protein Enjoy! April
