Anyone else buying lots of clothes? When I think about it... it seems silly to keep buying clothes since I just keep shrinking out of them but I just LOVE buying clothes now! Shoes too! Now that my feet are no longer wide and I can buy a lot of my clothes over in that OTHER section of the store I just LOVE buying clothes. Then I get sad when I love something and it gets too big though LOL! I bought size 18 jeans a couple of weeks ago and they're already getting really baggy. Time to go buy 16's. What is your favorite outfit now? Mine is low rise, boot cut, dark denim levi jeans, black V neck fine knit sweater and a pair of black clogs with a 4" heel (LOVE heels now). Lizzie 333/227/???

This is a problem, isn't it...LOL! I have been buying my clothes at Goodwill, today I just bought 3 pairs of Levi's and I spent $10.99. I find great deals on what looks like brand new stuff. I don't feel so bad when I get too small for them, I can just donate them back to Goodwill and buy some more. I work for Levi Strauss & Co and every now and then we have awesome sales for the employees and boy am I happy that I can fit into these jeans now! I live in a pair of Lucky Jeans (don't tell my boss) a pair of cowboy boots, and a long sleeve, light blue tee with a fleece vest. Darla 291/181/145

Hi I don't buy that much off the rack, but I did go a bit nuts a few months ago on ebay. I briefly got hooked on ebay and spent more than I should have, but I paid it off. When I shrink out of my clothes, I wash 'em and sell 'em back on ebay. If I can't sell them, I either freecycle them or give to one of the churches around. I like tight, straight or boot leg jeans and any kind of blouse (I couldn't find blouses to fit me this time last year.) I'm getting quite flat having lost a lot of my boobage, too, but I'm ok with that. Better than dragging those hefty suckers around all the time. Take care, Sue

I have that problem too. I love to buy new clothes now that I can exactly wear something that looks good on me. My husband is getting upset too and tells me I shouldnt spend so much on clothes since I know I wont be in them long. Oh well. I like the flare legged blue jeans. ( I guess it tell me age, since flares was in style when I was a teenager) I havent tried heels yet, afraid I will fall on my butt? Great job everyone. Kathleen G from MO

Yup, I definately have that problem. But then I had it before. If you knew the numbers of bags that I've given away this year ....... It's staggering. I have a couple of favorite new outfits. A reversible long skirt from Coldwater creek A purple A line skirt from the above. I'm dangerous in there. Jeanne

I love shopping also. I go to the Wal-mart and buy some clothes from there. I got lucky though, a few years ago my mom had gained some weight and had a bunch of 18 misses pants that she no longer wore, so I got them. I also have a wonderful aunt who went and bought me 3 brand new sweaters that I love. I have 3 favorite outfits, one is a purple top and black and purple print skirt (my hot momma outfit), the other is a black top with a cream skirt with black and gold print (my I feel sexy outfit), and the last one is my size 14W jeans from The Avenue that fit me and a form fitting top (this is my damn she has a butt outfit). The funny thing with the jeans are I love The Avenue's jean and have the same exact pair at home in a 24W and they fall completely off of me now. Life is much better after weight loss surgery Deanna

I wish I was buying alot of clothes! lol. Seriously, I bought so many clothes pre-op at the thrift stores when they were .99 that I haven't gone out shopping much at all. My favorite outfit is a tan pair of 14 Levi's and this long brown duster. I wear a tank underneath. And I have the most awesome brown high heeled shoes I wear with it. Since the surgery I am really getting into shoes. Yesterday at JCPenneys I got 4 pairs of high heeled sandals for under $5.00 each. They are a size smaller than what I wore pre-op and they were regular width. I hope that my feet don't shrink anymore before I get to wear them! Also my ring size went from a tight 10 to a 7. I have to get all my rings resized but am waiting to see if I lose anymore.
