Hey ya'll, how was your weekend? Mine was great. I do have to vent about something to you guys though. I went to get a pedicure on Saturday and sitting in the waiting chairs was a woman and her two sons. The woman was MO, and her sons looked 6 and 1. The 6 year old was holding the 1 year old, who was whining and squirming. The 6 year old says, "Mom, he won't stop moving and I can't drink my Coke!" The mom takes his coke, pours half of it into a baby bottle and gives it to the infant. "If you complain, you have to share with your brother," she says. I was appalled! Talk about perpetuating the cycle! In my mind, that's tantamount to abuse! Giving an infant a bottle of real Coke. Why don't you blow cigarette smoke in his face while you're at it, lady? Grrrr. You yourself know what it is like to be MO and here you are subjecting a helpless child, nay, 2 of them, to the same hard life that you are going through! What the &^$@!~&^$%?????

Jenn- I totally agree! First of all the kids should not have that junk, and 2nd how could she expect a 6 yr old to keep a baby happy in a nail place? seriously? "punishing" the little boy for complaining? that is nuts too. all that is telling the older boy is to resent his younger brother.... jen

Jenn K. My weekend was pretty laid back. I have increase my exercising so maybe the scale will start to move again. I am like you that baby shouldn't have coke, neither should the 6 yr old for that matter. She was really stupid to bring them to a salon of any kind with her. Some people shouldn't be allow to have kids. Have a good one Kathleen G from MO

My weekend was great, altough I was sick with a cold most of the weeked. I'm still trying to get my Christmas jacket done. I'll have to work on it tomorrow. Saturday, I went to a Toastmaster meeting and lunch with my friends. Then I went to my girlfriends to sew. We tried to visit the church near us that had a living Nativity program. That was a mistake. It's drive through and we got in line about 1/2 hour after it open. Moved about 1/4 mile in 20 minutes so we turned and went back home. Sunday, I went to the discount mall to walk with some Michigan OH's, never found them. So I walked by myselfe and of course shopped. I have to stop this but now I should be O****il the spring clothes come out. Then we did go to the living Nativity, got in line at 5 PM, and didn't get out of there until 10 PM. And I agree with you all that a baby shouldn't be given coke. Jeanne
