Foot pain?

Hey guys - has anybody noticed this? For my whole life I've walked around barefoot almost all day long. The only time I wear shoes is to go out of the house, they are the last things on before I go and the first things off when I get home. I'm just more comfortable that way. Always have been. But now I'm 7 months out and have noticed that it hurts when I walk barefoot. I don't know if it's from the bones touching the ground or what. I also don't notice it all the time either - just every few days. thanks, sarah

Sarah, I had foot surgery in March and then my gastric bypass in April. The pain in my foot was from the bone hitting the ground. It was my joint on the second toe in tha****ing. They shortened my toe and raised it. All this to say that it could very well be that with less padding, perhaps your bones are hitting the ground. I have noticed now at 7 months out that my hips and knees hurt. What is the deal with that? You would think they would have hurt more when I was carrying more pounds. Kim M.

Since we are losing weight are bodies are shifting and that is what the pain is. I have arthiritis, and boy my back and hips hurt alot more now than they did. I dont have any problems going barefooted. I am like Sarah B. My shoes are the first thing off and the last things on. Kathleen

I'm like Sarah also, first thing off are the shoes. My foot doctor yells at me all of the time. I've had heel pain (from my spur, I think) for the l ast month or so. The foot doc at first though it was a stress fracture of my heel from the water aerobics. It's much better now that I put my orthotic back in and haven't worn the nice fashion boots that I've been wearing because they felt so good. I just haven't tried the orthotics in them. He might still send me for a bone scan after I see him on Monday. Jeanne

I'm in the same boat. Not so much pain but I can feel my bones touching the floor when I'm barefoot. I also can feel bone when I'm sitting very long. Ribs are sticking out too. Yea.
