Don't even get me started on how bad I have been sucking at getting my exercise in. I only did the treadmill 3x's this week for 30 mon. That's it and it was even worse last week.!!!!

This week I Actually went 3 times. (to the gym... dirty minds...) Its the first week this month, but I am done until Monday! Phew.

Well, I've been doing a lot better at it. I've been doing water aerobics and swimming 3-5 times a week. I did 2 hours of aerobics on Monday, 1 hour Tuesday and Wednesday, and 2 hours plus 25 laps on Thursday. I was planning on going in the morning but will have to see. I seem to have aggrevated something in my good knee and it's beginning to hurt a lot so I'll see what it's like in the AM. For now I need to find the ice pack. Jeanne

Ever since I moved I haven't excercised......grrrrr.....been 8 weeks now.....i need to go join the local rec center so that I can work out when i get home each night and then on the weekend....I think I'm gonna go do that tomorrow....thanks for the kick in the pants =) Ruth Ann

Well as for me thaksgiving goal no happenings oh well will still continue to strive but it is really my own fault excercising haven't done in awhile haven't lost any weight in 3 weeks so this last 20 pounds I need to loose is gonna really be a challenge

It's kind of the opposite for me. I am actually running now. Even as I type that I can't believe it. Never in a million years would I have believed I could run again. It started out as walking on the levee with my 17 year old. She decided to run part of the way and the next thing you know I am doing it too. This is our sixth week. We go three times a week and run/walk for two miles. We also started Chicometrics last week. Now you would think with all of this exercise, the weight would be melting off! NOT! I think I have only lost one pound over the past month!

Are you feeling the change in your clothes? I went through this a month or so ago. I had joined the Y at the end of July and I think I weighed myself a month or so later. I had only lost 4 lbs and I was pretty upset, until I realized that I was toning up and losing pants sizes. You know how it goes, muscle weighs more than fat, so you will be shrinking but not necessarily seeing it on the scale. I've since lost another 22 lbs, so I am pretty happy and with the exercise, the pants sizes are still going down. In July, I was slipping into a 24 tightly, now I am in a 20 and starting to slide into 18s. I think you're doing an awesome job so don't be discouraged with one lb. Sue

I did about 4 miles on the bicyle last week, but this week, I cant do anything as I had to have surgery last friday the 17. My doctor found a hernia, so now I have to heal again. I think I am over my plateau for a little in anyway, lol. Was on clear liquids again for 2 days, but now can eat normally. Jus****ch myself on what I eat. Had a protein shake today and man does my stomach really hurt. Wont do that again for a few days. Kathleen G from MO
