Thanksgiving Goals

Just touching base on how everyone is doing. Can you believe we only have 2 weeks until Turkey Day? I've lost 2 out of my 6 pound goal and have worked out 3 times so far this week for a goal of 4-5 times a week. How is everyone doing on their goals?? Denise

I have lost 3 out of my 8 pounds. So I have 5 pounds to loose till my Thanksgiving goal. Remember the first few months when we could loose that in a day or two? Now that things have slowed down...it is much harder to loose the weight and 5 pounds is a lot in 2 weeks!!!! I think I will make it!

I'm right there with you! I'm shooting for five more so that I can be in the 160's and you're right it's sooooo slow right now. I think I will wait until Turkey Day to weigh. I'm scared if I weigh now I will have gained and not be at my last goal of 174!

Way to go everyone!!!! Does this help everyone kind of stay on track? I really think it helps me (need all the help I can get). Everyone is doing so well Also, thanks for having a great sense of humor. That helps too. Denise

I have lost 2 of my 6lb goal and more importantly I have been cooking everyday! The excercise is still such a struggle. Does it ever get easier?! I hate to admit that I really don't like to excercise--I do it because I know I need to. I will have to look for a mommy to excercise with that won't mind the kids tagging along. I think I use them as an excuse to limit how long, intense my work outs are. I have started a Dance with the girls time so they are learning to enjoy physical activity now at a young age. Hopefully, I can teach them by being a good role model. And the oldest likes it so much she now begs for the TV to be turned off so we can dance. Oh well, baby steps right?

My goal is to be 189 by thanksgiving, and as of Wednesday I was 192 so I have 3 lbs to go and I will have reached my goal... Darla

Well, on Nov 4 I weighed 187.8 and this morning I weighed 184 so that is 3.8lbs in 6 days. I think adding more food to my diet has really helped. My body thought I was starving. I have been reading my Bible more and exercise is still hard due to my shoulder injury...but the inches are coming off again. My gioal was 2lbs a week and this week I did better and still have 1 more day this week. Thanks for the chance to challenge myself again. God is good! In Christ, Joan M
