How do you respond to "When are you going to stop losing weight?"

I've met my original goal (150 lbs) this week. While I'm getting close, I still want to lose about 10 pounds. I'm asked everyday, "When are you going to stop losing weight?". I'm never sure how to answer. What do you all say when someone asks? What do your doctor's say about when you will stop losing? I haven't been overly concerned about what I eat. I haven't wanted to know if sugar or fat will make me dump (I'm afraid to know they wouldn't make me sick), so I keep true to a healthy diet. I don't know when I'll stop losing. WELL CONGRATS I AM 20POUNDS AWAY FROM GOAL U MADE IT I AM PROUD OF YOU YEA I HEAR THE SAME THING ARE YOU DONE LOSING WEIGHT I HOPE YOU ARE U DON'T NEED TO LOSE ANY MORE MY GOAL WAS 150 BUT I WANT TO GET TO 140 TO STAY IN THAT SAFE ZONE BUT MY FRIEND THAT IS WHAT I WANT TO KNOW WHEN WILL I STOP LOSING ONCE I REACH MY GOAL RIGHT NOW I WILL EMBARESSLY SAY I PRETTY MUCH EAT WHAT I WANT AND I EXCERCISE NOT AS MUCH AS I SHOULD BUT I AM STILL LOSING I WEIGHT MYSELF EVERY MONDAY AT WORK I DIDN'T WORK TODAY CAUSE I AM OFF TODAY AND TOMMOROW SO I WON'T WEGTH IN UNTIL WED LAST MON I WAS 160 WON'T KNOW THIS MON WEIGHT UNTIL WED BUT I THINK I NEED TO FIND OUT WHAT TO DO ONCE I GET TO MY GOAL DON'T WANT TO LOSE TOO MUCH RIGHT NOW IAM WEARING A SIZE 10 VERY COMFORTABLY W/ ROOM I AM VERY PROUD OF MYSELF I JUST GOTTTA START TONING I GOT FLAG ARMS AND INNER THIGHS OVER ALL I FEEL LUCKY CAUSE IF I WOULD HAVE STARTED OUT O BIT HEAVER I KNOW I WOULD NEED SOME KIND OF RECONSTUCTIVE SURGERY KEP ME POSTED W/ YOUR JOURNEY AND ANY SUGGESTIONS U HAVE GOOD LUCK AND gOD BLESS

Trust your body and once you have reached your realiztic goal meet with a Dietcian to help you plan your meals in a way were you will maintain your weight. You may find that you need to add some foods. Such as cheese, protien, and whole grains. In responds to other I would say I have set a goal for myself. Once I reach that goal I will be on a maintance plan which will help me maintain a healthy weight. Thank you for your concern. All that being said under eating can be an issue for weight lose surgery. Some people really become afriad of over eating so they find it really hard to eat. Keeping a journal of your food intake as well as your exercise will help you and your doctor determine what is right for your body. Congradulations on your success. It sounds like you are doing really well. I wish you continued success. Terrie 364/261/goal 165 BTW, this is my goal. It is a health goal for my weight. However, my doctors goal is much higher. It was 200 something. Due to the excess skin I have I might need to have plastic surgery to get rid of the extra 20 pounds when I get down to 185. I will be thrilled with between 175 and 165. I will be happy with anything under 200.
