Hi guys!!! I haven't posted in a while but have been lurking. I also fell short of my Halloween goal by 3 pounds (have lost 97). This has typically been the hardest 3 months of the year for me - my birthday in October, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year's. Lots of parties, cold weather where all I want to do is eat, etc. Each year I have gained weight and then try all spring to take it off. But not this year. . . Although I did not lose over my vacation to Busch Gardens last week I did maintain so I'm happy with that. I have been feeling lost the past week though - I feel the old habits trying to grab hold of me. (decreased exercise, poor food choices, etc.) I've seen where some of you have posted goals for Thanksgiving and I want to join in. It helps me re-focus and you all help me realize I am not alone My goal is to exercise 4-5 times per week (even when it's brrrr outside) and to lose 6 pounds which will put me at a loss of 103 pounds What are everyone else's goals? Good luck my April buddies!!!! You all are the best Denise

I too am a lurker who fell short of goal. I wanted to be in onederland on Halloween day...I wasn't. I did make it yesterday. I guess it is close enough. My goals are to cook every day instead of relying on microwave meals or soups. Excercising 5x a week and to lose 6 lbs. Good luck! Ginny

Hi Denise, I like you, have felt the old habits creep back into my life... eating junk and I have slacked up on the exercise. I did so much better yesterday now that the horrible, evil halloween candy is out of the house! My energy levels haven't been up to par either so I only exercised 3 times last week but no where near the intensity I usually push myself to do. I'm going to make better choices, avoid bad carbohydrates, incorporate more veggies and fruit and increase my water consumption. I think this will help with the energy levels which will motivate me to get more exercise in. By doing this, I WILL lose 6lbs by Thanksgiving This is my goal. April

I think it's great that we all have all kinds of goals!!! (exercise, cooking, no scale, smaller size, etc) It helps so much to see others struggling also and that we can come together and strengthen our resolve Ok, we have it in writing It feels good to have a new goal and starting point. Good luck everyone. We WILL make it

Denise, I am right there with you! Lost 98 pounds and would have liked to have been there by October 10....still not there. Stuck and now making bad choices....yes, the candy corn has called my name. So here are my goal for thanksgiving.... 1. Get to 175 that would be a loss of 8 pounds 2. Re-establish my exercise routine....walking and yoga 3. Drink 95 ounces a day. There are my goals....and I am sticking to them! Cyndi
