hey
now that almost all of us are at 6 months & going on the next six months & our weight is slowing down just wondering how much calories are everybody getting should we take in less or try& get the same so we can still loose? I want to loose more & I know my weight has slowed way down ,I want this surgery to work & it scares me to death that the weight will come back on !!
Hi Rebecca,
I didn't look at your profile, so I don't know where you are in your journey. I'm 2 pounds from my original goal, but I think I want to reset it for another 5 -10 pounds. My loss has slowed down and then boom, I'll lose 3 pounds in a few days. I too worry about gaining. I get comments almost daily on when I'm going to stop losing, or how I'm going to stop. At this point I'm not worry about what I eat, only that I get my protein in. (I want my hair to stop falling out!) I usually eat somewhere between 700 and 1000 calories. I get at least 70 grams of protein (thank God for WorldWide Pure Protein). I've increased my workouts, but not my food. I wonder what the right balance is. I track my eating, excercise and weight on FitDay pretty regularly. How do you do it?
I look forward to hearing others ideas on how to not be neurotic about gaining, but also to keep losing or maintaining.

Girl I had the same question...I only eat between 400-600 cals and know I should do more but I get 75 grams of protein with isopure choc shakes (3 - 6oz a day). But food isn't that good to me. Meat is very hard to eat...especially chicken. I can eat beef brisket, shrimp, tuna and salmon (small amounts). I also keep track of food and exercise at fitday.com.
When I go to support meeting I want to ask our nutritionist for a count of protein, carbs and cals per day we need at 6 months. They say 1/2 cup of food but what does that mean? I need numbers to go buy so I can keep track.
Hope this helps some or stirs some comments.
Maybe I will post on other sites.
Love in Him,
Joan M
