I am shouting on the roof tops...I have made my goal of 140 pounds as of this morning. I had my first plateau this past month and it took several weeks to drop those last few pounds. I think that I may try to lose another ten pounds or so, but that will be about it. I feel great! I still get tired quite often, but for the most part I feel more alive than I ever have. I have alot more self respect and feel that I have more self esteem I am starting to really like food again, the taste and I am enjoying cooking again. Also this past month I *FINALLY* started to tolerate protein which is really good since I have deprived m,yself protein for months now...I am almost afraid to go next month to get my labs done! I cannot thank you all enough for all the support I have received on here...we all WILL make our goals Amy 4/11/06...start weight...233 9/25/06...Current & goal weight...140 (total loss of 93 pounds)

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Wow - I am just so happy for you - you have done a great job. I am currently 18 pounds from my goal weight which is also 140. I have been on a plateau for the past 5 weeks so I'm hoping the scale starts moving again soon! Again - I am so happy for you...... Warm regards, Bonnie

How awesome! Congratulations... I hope you are doing something very special for yourself to celebrate this wonderful accomplishment. I would be lying if I didn't admit to being a teensy weensy bit jealous. Your stats are so similar to mine and I am no where near my goal of 135. I started out at 243 and had my surgery the day after you. I am now at 183 for a loss of 60. The good news is that it is still coming off... slowly but surely. Best wishes, Amy and continued success!!!
