Hi Cheryl, I don't think you should consider 2 pounds a weight gain. I know my weight fluctuates up and down a pound or 2 and then suddenly drops for real. If you are eating correctly and excercising I bet this is just a normal fluctuation. I have to have this talk to myself whenever the scale goes up. I get a little freaky. So far it has dropped within a few days. I find the closer I get to my goal, the slower the loss. Take care of yourself! Betsy

I wouldn't consider that a weight gain. I have even heard of people 'gaining' 7 pounds and 'losing' it and some more in a week.. It aint like the old days! *Val

THIS would be me. I have gained as much as 10 pounds in a matter of days. The thing is, before i had surgery, I was skipping breakfast and lunch. So now, it's like i'm eating more than i used to. We'll see what happens as I have been plateaued for quite some time now.

I know there are weeks (this being one of them) where I gain a pound, and then when my "cycle" is over, I drop that pound plus another 2-3. Could your weight fluctuation be related to your monthly cycle?
