Can you see Onderland?

Everyone who is just almost over the top of the hill into Onderland, post in here! How close are you? Are you putting in a big push to get there? Hit the gym! Drink tha****er! Just 15 pounds to go! I wanted to make it by October 10th, my husbands birthday, but don't know if I will or not. It will be close. I am going to try to go to Curves 4 times per week and see if that helps. My surgeon wants me to do 45 to 60 minutes at Curves but they want you to do only 30 minutes. He actually wrote me a prescription to give to them to see if they would allow it. I will see tomorrow when I go. At his office on Friday, I had dropped from a BMI of 54 prior to surgery, to 40 which I think is wonderful. I am no longer Super Obese and at 39.9 I will only be Obese. Looking forward to that. Julia

15 pounds?! That's awesome! You have 23 days to lose 15 pounds. That might be pushing it, but its a good goal to shoot for. I think you can definitely make it by Halloween, though! Can you go for a 15-20 minute walk before or after Curves if they won't let you?

Well did I jump the gun on this thread! I thought it was in reference to losing 100 pounds not getting under 200. I am 15 pounds from losing 100 pounds but need to lose 37 pounds to get under 200. I am going to push for the 100 pounds by October 10th. I talked to the powers that be at Curves today and they said I could do the 45 to 60 minutes instead of the 30 minutes so I did 45 today and will work up to the 60 minutes. I plan to work hard on the portions and drink lots of liquids. Wish me luck. Julia

Julia, you and I had our surgery on the same day....my goal for the 6 month -10.10.06 is 15 pounds, which will put me at the century card mark. Lets do it !!! Great job!!! Cyndi

O.K. Cyndi, I am working on the 15 pounds by the 10th of October. My average loss per week is 3.5 so it may be hard but I am trying. Good luck to you too. The last two days I have been doing 45 minutes at Curves and am finally working up a sweat!! Julia

I am 7lbs away from Onderland!!! It seems as though I'm at DMV....I've stood in the long line leading to Onderland, and when I finally make it to the front of the line, they shut the door and put a big "Closed" sign on it! I'm sooo close, but yet still sooo far. My goal is to have these few pounds off by October 1st....I know I can do it, so I've committed myself to the "Protein Train" for the next week.....I'm upping my water, and pumping up my work out routine! I love it! The Protein Train! Put me on there too girl, I am headed to the gym today. what kind of workouts do you do? I'm on the elliptical for 30 minutes and then weights for 20 minutes. Mostly arms. 7 pounds in 13 days. You can do it!!

That is really close, Terri! What s your goal? Are you doing anything differently for a big push to get there? I think you can make it in the next 5 or 6 weeks! Under 200 by Halloween, girl! Woot!
