Fun Shopping This Weekend!
Hello All
Well, I needed some me time away from my ever traveling husband and bratty 3.5 year old..hahahaha. So I decided to go to Khols and just try on clothes.
What an amazing afternoon I had. Before this surgury I was wearing 30/32. Today I am 16/18 with another 70 pounds to go till goal.
I was taking clothes off the shelf that I thought would be too big. Like size 18 and 20! Well to my amazement....I had to go back for smaller sizes.
I was even shopping in the Misses section!!!!! I almost sat down and cried in the changing room!
I got some really nice things yesterday. The sad part is...they won't fit in a month! That makes me cry too...for my wallet! hahaha.
I have not been this size since the 1980s.
My weight has slowed down a lot! I usually have my period. Plateau for 2 weeks, drop 10 pounds and have my period....and so on. It seems to be the same each month!
I really want to hit 200 pounds by Thanksgiving! I want to be at least 190 by Christmas!
I am very happy with the 76 pound weight loss so far...but just wi**** would come off faster!
My thing is to shop via ebay. I started selling my clothes that are too big for me and I've bought some stuff that I can fit into now and also will lose and get into. Selling is harder because it'**** and miss, but this way, I try to break even.
I've gotten some really nice clothes.
Yesterday I was at a carnival at my son's old school and hadn't seen some people since before my surgery. Needless to say, I was basking in the compliments, lol. I was wearing a pink fitted top with an uneven hem line, which was both avante garde and very nice. One of my friends said to me, we won't be seeing you in t-shirts any more! (That was my uniform - t-shirts and sweats!) so my pink top and jeans were very different than what I'd worn before.
Congrats to you on your continued success!

I finally broke down and bought a couple of pairs of slacks this weekend also. I also hate to buy alot knowing that I will be needing new in another month or so. I try to get the basics and keep it cheap like from Walmart. I got black, brown and blue slacks. I figured they would match alot. The shirts seem to last a little longer but I don't buy anything expensive. $10 to $ 12 bucks only for each. I can't wait til We are more stable so I can shop and buy something really nice. I have noticed a pattern with my weight loss month to month now also.
Have a good day
