Morning April Peeps!
Ruth Ann: how was your weekend? Have you hit onederland yet? I'm waiting to see that post!
Betsy: what is the best ting that your trainer has taught you? Pass on some free knowledge, girl! I feel the same way about pasta... and all I have been craving is Mac & Cheese!
Jenni: How was camping? What kind of food were you able to eat in the great outdoors?
Denise: did you go shopping and take advantage of the tax free weekend? Am so sorry to hear about your dog. I am a dog person too and that just breaks my heart.
Perry: what is your favorite food right now? Do you need some new ideas?
Amanda: Hey, another military wife! I'm fitting perfectly into the 14s now too. So weird. Did you talk to your hubby over the weekend? Hit the gym, girlie!
Terri: you went camping too, huh? How was it? I once cooked eggs over a campfire in a giant iron pot with hashbrowns and cubed ham. Minus the hashbrowns, its not too bad of a camping meal. BBQ has made me dump before, so now I'm scared of it. But sooo yummy.
Julia: Thanks for posting! I haven't tried the booth thing yet, but I remember Johnny Rockets being really a tight fit. Maybe I should try now (not that I would eat there).
Julie: How are things with the "someone"? Are they in the friend zone yet, or is there still a possibility there? Yikes, work sounds awful. Hang in there!
Terrie: how was the outdoor concert? Who was there? So, is your foot broken? Hard to dance on a broken foot, girl!
Jennifer: Size 11?!? Holy Toledo! I want to hear all about Vegas. Where did you stay? We are thinking about going in September. I wanna stay at the Wynn again, but might try something new.
Cindee: Moving is a BIG exercise. I bet you are so sore, huh? How long was your son in China?
Carolyn: Did you hit the century mark yet?!? Where are you going on holiday, anywhere cool? What did you do with all your old clothes? I am giving mine to my MIL who will be visiting and of Aug.
Jenn thanks for asking!
My weekend was too fast! Camping was great we had so much fun, I went tubing for the first time in ages! My arms are so sore from it but it was a great workout!
I ate a few bites of roasted marshmellow- it wasn't that good. I didn't eat much for protein other than boiled eggs- nothing else wanted to stay down. I did eat corn, well I chewed it up and spit most of it out, I was affraid of the outsides!
Overall awesome weekend just too short!
I loved our camping trip. Some of the things that I cooked, were "Cowboy Beans", its just cooked hamburger w/onion, and a big can of Bush's baked beans. I could eat those, high in fiber and in protein...yum! We had fresh trout, cooked in foil with a little salt & pepper...yummy! And then when everyone roasted hot dogs, I fixed a chicken packet, which was just a chicken breast in foil w/ a slice of onion and some carrots, cooked over the campfire. Its pretty easy to adapt my diet requirements to our camping trip. I couldn't participate in the smores or the marshmellow roasting but I did have a little square of graham cracker.
It was fun!!
Jenn
I had a great weekend..how was yours?
I have NOT hit 199 yet...but it's just around the corner....yesterday am i was 200.5 and then today was back up to 201.5...i'm sure i'll hit 199 in a couple days....i'm not stressing about it, i know i will hit it...then i need to make my next goal...
my first goal was to be 225 when i took my trip to floriday 1 month out and i was like 228 so close i was fine with it...the next goal is to get out of the 200's....i guess my next goal should be 175 by halloween...should be easy enough to make...
my loss is already slowing down, but i know that's normal...my surgeon said at his info meeting that on average people loose 10 lbs a month...so as long as i'm still hitting that, i'm a happy camper.
I see you mentioned you thinking about going to vegas in september...i'm going to be there the 24th, 25th and am of the 26th my sister and i are going to be staying at Circus Circus, when we went in mid july we stayed at the stratosphere but had a bad experience (light bulb broken and sitting on the table instead of changed, mold on the ceiling in the bathroom above the shower, bathroom and vanity light kept tripping) so we won't stay there again.
my old clothes i gave to my sister, but what i have now is too small for her, so mine will be going to a local clothing exchange...
