Rose: Have you gone shopping yet? I imagine those clothes are barely staying on you now! Betsy: I wish I was losing as fast as you! Size 12's are my dream right now. I have one pair hanging in my closet waiting on me. Julie: you need to get that century club card! Have to picked an "official" scale to go by? I pretty much ignore any other scale but the one in my house, else I would go mad! Carolyn: how close are you to that century club? Dawn: have you caught the shopping bug like I have? You're not still trying to pull off those size 30 shirts are you? I bet they look like pajamas! Rebecca J: how are your calories doing? Have you started journaling? Thanks for the tip on where to find carb countdown milk. I will check out WalMart, but that place kinda makes my skin crawl. Kim M.: do you still eat every 2-3 hours? how much? I have thought about trying this, but I don't know if I could just eat a tiny bit that often. Brenda E: Happy 4 month surgiversary tomorrow! how much are you down? I had hoped for 60 pounds lost by my 4 month mark, but I'm only at -49. To each their own! Shelly: how are you? I haven't seen you post in a while and your posts are so entertaining! Sarah B: how is your back doing these days? Mine is really hurting today, so I feel for ya! Everyone else, if I missed you, check in here and let me know how you're doing and what you're up to. I want WOW moments, people! I want milestones! Jenn (254)239/190/145

Hey Jenn! I am absolutely loving life right now. I'm down almost 90lbs and am taking so much better care of myself. I'm starting to appreciate exercise. It no longer physically hurts for the first time ever. I am having a hard time consistently making sure I have all required protein and water...some days are good, others aren't so good. I have my weeks were I'm sluggish and others where I'm constantly doing something, which I know is due to my inconsistency of protein. But I'm definitely working on it. I just ordered some protein from Susan Maria's website. I'm so in love with the Achiev One coffee drinks and the Nectar fuzzy navel. As for wow moments...90lbs down - need I say more?? lol I'm constantly getting compliments and I'm starting to believe them a little. I hardly recognize myself in the mirror or if I catch my reflection in a window. The transformation has been amazing. My husband can't keep his hands off of me lol He is actually exercising too. I'm really proud of his effort. I have absolutely nothing that fits but I really don't want to buy anything because I know I won't be able to wear it for very long. But I have gone on a new make-up, shoes, purse shopping spree. My wedding rings no longer fit.... I have gone from a ring finger size 11 to a 8 1/2. I'm just in awe with this whole process especially given my attitude right after surgery... I was very discouraged needless to say. My goal right now is to get to 266 before the end of August (about 10lbs). My husband and I are going to celebrate our first wedding anniversary in Florida. I'm really looking forward to it. I'm just hoping there won't be any hurricanes! Keep up the hard work! Congratulations on your weight loss. You look great! April

April, you sound SO happy girl! How much protein can you get in a day without thinking about it? I drink a shake for breakfast, a matrix hot chocolate at work, and then a shake right before bed. And I can do that without even thinking about it! Those midday hot cocoas at 23g of protein a pop really do help a lot. My hubby has been stepping up the exercise too! I think he is down about 15 pounds. how is yours doing? I can wear his clothes now! I have always wanted to "borrow" the man's clothes and now I'm small enough to do so! Where in Florida are you going?

Good! I did the same thing! I went to the Kohl's clearance sale and got a pair of size 12s for $6 and just put them in the closet as a dream for later. I am now one size away!

Hello again! I have a couple of WOW moments...they're listed in my profile, but they are: 1. Buying a MUCH smaller bra...and seeing breasts up on my chest again instead of down towards my belly button! 2. Being down 50# (now 52# as of today!)...haven't been down to this weight in more than 6 or 7 years! 3. Hubby is enjoying my newly discovered curves (the ones that were hidden underneath all of the fat) 4. Having a hard time believing that I actually enjoy exercising now! Who woulda thunk it? Sorry to hear your back is bothering you Jenn...hope you're feeling better soon. Sharon

Thanks Sharon.. I think it might be cramps radiating to my back, which never used to happen when I was fat. Hopefully it won't become a habit?? Grrr. Anyway, those are some great Wow moments. I feel you on the bra thing.

Hello Everyone! Saturday will be exactly 4 months for me! I am down 68 lbs from the day of surgery. I finally fit into a pair of size 18 jeans from New York & Co. and I am sooo excited! I have problems getting my water and protein in for the day and walking too! I need to start but working full time and going to school full time puts a lot of stress on someone! What is everyone eating? I LOVE reading those posts, it helps me get some ideas. I find that I only like my carb control yogurt, string cheese, and beef jerky! Talk to everyone later! -Emily

Hey Emily. I was chowing down on some turkey jerky last night and remembered you. The thing that has saved me is finding higher protein lower carb versions of my favorite foods and eating them in moderation. Like food for life low-carb bread (6g a slice), low carb tortillas (8g), morningstar farms sausage patties (10g), and tofutti cuties (2g, but they taste just like ice cream sanwiches!). Jenn

Yes, my doctor told me to eat every 2-3 hours. Volume doesn't seem to be much of an issue. I hardly get in enough as it is. I love seeing our April buddies doing so well. We all are awesome! Kim M.
