16 weeks out today!
How was your weekend? Morning everyone! I had an exceptional weekend, and the heat wave out here in the California desert has dissipated (for the time being). I lost another pound, putting me at 190!!! I think I might make it to the 180's for August. I have never been this light as an adult, nor have I ever been the smallest person in my family. i get to see my parents for the first time since surgery on the 11th of August. I'm shooting for 186 by the time I see them. I need to get out and walk more, now that it is cooler! My blood sugar levels are completely normal, even when I haven't eaten overnight. That feels so incredibly good. I don't get faint or shaky anymore. I still get exercise-induced asthma, but I didnt really expect that to go away. I need to do a picture post soon, and I will, if for no other reason than to offer help to anyone beginning this process. I'm still pretty sensitive about my weight and I feel like an elephant most of the time, but I'm getting healthier. Now I just need to work on the "eyes are bigger than my stomach" phenomenon.

OT:
Our dachshund, Libby, mourned the loss of our extra-long grass in the backyard by barking at it for 10 minutes nonstop. Evidently it was the grass' fault for getting shorter and she felt the need to inform it of its crimes against wiener-dog kind. She also stole my Nuva Ring out of the trash on Sunday and I spent a good half hour panicking that she would die from all the estrogen. My vet friend dissuaded me of the notion, saying that she would probably pass it and all will be well. Still, eew.
I lost my debit card, a fact that I found out about going 80 mph on the highway while on the phone. No one used it, so it was reported lost without incident, but I was severely ticked. I got my car serviced and they kept it overnight and still didn't wa**** like I asked. So, that steamed me too, and they promised me a VIP detail next time I bring it in. Hah! Only if you give me a free rental car for my trouble while you detail it! Grrr.
Ok, that's it. You are all up to date on my life. How is everyone?
I found a low carb bread that has 6g of protein per slice and is really small. So, I have allowed myself some sandwiches, but not too many. The pouch hates fried food. I tried 2 french fries and got really sick. It can handle sugar, just not fats. Which is awesome, because I was a sucker for fried food! I miss su****he kind rolled up in rice. How did your tilapia turn out? I am not a cooked fish fan, but I am going on a cruise in 2 weeks and I plan on at least trying more fish to see if I like it.
