so I would like to know who writes dwn what you eat every day ? please help me ,my dr told me I was not getting enough to eat calories how many a day does every body get ?I was getting around 600 to 700 but I am walking also & burning them also .

I was told to eat three meals a day and am having a really hard time doing it. I'm just Not hungry. I go the gym every night and do cardio and weights and I know I'm probably burning more than I'm taking in but not sure how to correct this. Eating just seems like a chore to me and I just don't even feel like dealing with it. I bought the little 3oz cans of tuna and will eat those for a meal or drink my protein shakes. I also make salads with chicken (I buy the pre grilled ready to eat chicken out of the lunchmeat section it's pretty good) I also eat chilli every now and then when I make it or when we go to Wendy's. I'm so bad about writing things down and keeping up with it. I know me and I sooo wouldn't keep up with a food journal. I just try everyday to do better than I did the day before. I honestly never thought I'd have someone telling me to eat. It's a huge change and hard to deal with. I also have a hard time getting in all my water. I mix my protein shakes with 2% milk so I am taking in fluid but not as much as I should be. I'd love to hear what people are doing to get in enough calories. Jamie 297/223/?

I know the feeling I am going to try & eat more that is how I can loose more the dr told me I was not losing fast enough so i will try this. thnks for help

I'm not losing fast enough either. Some days, I may have 32 oz of crystal light, a couple of tablespoons of tuna and suck the juice out of an orange. I have this addiction to oranges. One week, all I did was suck the juice out of oranges and lost 10 pounds, so I'm trying that again . I'll be 4 months out on the 17th and so far I've only lost 56 pounds. It's just hard for me to find stuff to eat and I do exercise so I don' t know WHAT to do! Sherry 295/239/170

The doctor's office said to eat every 2 or 3 hours. There is no way I am getting in the required protein or fluids they request. It seems impossible to me. I don't write down anything, but do try to keep a running tab in my head of what I ate or drank. I am wondering also if this is normal or are people more detailed than me. I am down 59 pounds since April 25th. Kim M.

you are doing good with weight loss i have lost 39,the dr said not enough so i need to try & eat more i know i was not eating that much around 600 to 700 calories a day since i have been writing it dwn i am doing better .thnks for the help

Hi Rebecca I gotta say Fitday is an awesome tool to track your food daily. It gets easier quickly once you start keeping track. By the end of the day I just log on and see where I am at foodwise and eat accordingly. You can even log your exercise and see how much you are burning. I love the graphs so I can see patterns in my weight loss. I am hijacking a quote I read last week...."It is easier not to eat than to learn how to eat correctly" Boy is that ever true. Give Fitday a try.....It will be even more important as you get closer to goal.

great thnks i am going right now to check out the site .i have been writing dwn what i eat for 3 days now wow i was falling way short ,i have never been told to eat more but food is not that good any more but i am working on that .I also have a cool site dnt know if you saw it or not www.caloriesperhour.com it has all the restraunts on it & other stuff .thnks for the help becky.now hope i can jump start my weight loss
