I don't feel like finishing my meals
I eat about 2 bites of my food and its not like I feel full, but I just feel gross and uncomfortable and I don't have the urge to eat anymore. Yesterday I only ate about 600-700 calories, most of them from protein drinks. Is there any healthy, non-filling way to get in some more calories and protein? Cause I am getting really tired of eating.
Hi Jenn-I have been feeling the same as you lately. Nothing tastes good to me the last couple of days. I chalked it up to the severe heat we are having here. I am sick of the usual things like tuna, cottage cheese. I did manage to eat a cheese stick and half a protein shake and lots of water yeaterday which I know is not nearly enough. I know grazing isn't what we are suppose to do but a bite here and a bite there is getting in at least a little something. Maybe it's just a phase. I know I feel weak and tired and I know its from not eating enough the past days. Maybe try a pudding cup or soup with milk. I know when I am having trouble eating solids, I can usually get done a half cup of soup and it at least gives some nourishment. Hope you feel better.

I think Sharon is right with it being a phase or something to that effect because I am the same way. Nothing looks good or tastes good, a few bites of this or that. Its so strange because not wanting food just isn't something that my head is use too. I eat because I know I have to.
I went out with my co workers yesterday, nothing at all looked good to me, so I ordered 1 egg and 2 bacon, I ate 1/2 of each, I had a protein drink for breakfast, and for supper I ate 1/2 of a chicken tender from Mc D's with a snack of two bites of smoked turkey breast. Today so far today has been 1/4 weight control oatmeal, small amount of chili and cheese and a few bites of peanuts. I have no desire to eat supper..... I keep telling myself you have to eat to lose but it doesn't matter!
I have some days like that but for the most part I enjoy my food. My favorite thing to eat is tomatoes and mozz cheese on a bed of fresh spinach with ranch dressing or balsamic.
A this point I can eat almost anythig so I don't get bored at all. I do have a hard time with vegatables. I think it is just that I don't want to take the time to cook them for such a small amount.
Keep trying different things.
