Problem with the "poops"
Hello everyone:
It will be 3 months on the 24th that I had my surgery. I have been doing really good with eating and staying on track. I do however have one small problem.
The first thing in the morning after I get up, I have to go #2. It is not solid. It is very running and urgent. I usually have to go two times and then I am done until the next day.
I was told that a lot of people get constipated after this surgery. I was really hoping for that as I was very runny before the surgery.
I had my gall bladder out in 1991 and ever since then I have not been real solid. But, it seems to have gotton worse since surgery, when I was hoping it would get better.
Anyone else in this boat?? And what are you doing about it.
Thanks
I am with you.... I thought it was going to have a problem with constipation, if it wasn't such a sudden thing in the mornings I would be OK with it but when you wake up and your doing something then all of a sudden you have to go now and you have other people in your house with only one bathroom...
As far as what I am doing about it- nothing living with it, so if anyone has any ideas they are more than welcome.
I get constipated when I eat too much cheese - maybe try adding some cheese to your diet and that will make it more solid.
I've been adding benefiber to my protein drinks to keep me from getting constipated.
I did get the diarrhea after switching to a new iron supplement which doesn't make any sense because iron is supposed to constipate you too.
