Hey ya'll! I'm almost 3 months out and have officially lost 65lbs, unofficially 73lbs. I never thought that would be possible. I feel great and am loving life. I'm getting a little worried though. Lately, I've noticed that I have been able to eat more. Anyone else able to eat more? Just curious. Congratulations to everyone! Y'all are doing great! April

Congratulations on your weight loss! I too am out 3 months. I've lost 55 lbs and bought a pair of 14 capris tonight... I'm still not eating much. I am seeing a nutritionist on Monday because I'm not getting all my protein or water in a day. I'm a little worried that it may partly due to my concern of out eating my pouch. Congrats again!

Hi Betsy, If you don't mind...could you let me know what advice your nutricionist gives you. I am horrible with getting in my fluids and even worse getting in protein and I have been feeling super sluggish lately. I am moving this week to Georgia so I don't have time to get an appointment here! Amy

Hi April. I am a little over 3 months out having had surgery the week before you, and like you I am noticing that I can eat a little more than before depending on the food. The heavier the food the less of it I can eat. My nutritionist said we should be able to eat about a cup now. I have lost 70 pounds since surgery and 105 since I started the process (I had to be on a liquid diet for 3 1/2 weeks prior to surgery). If you continue to be worried, write everything down you are eating and the amounts and give your nutritionist a call. Hope this helps. Deanna

Hi Deanna, thank you so much for the input. I knew that I would eventually be able to eat more, I just didn't expect to so soon. I know I'm not eating more than a cup of food. Congratulations on your weight loss! You've done wonderfully. April

Yes I have noticed that I can eat much more than after surgery. I had to put my dog down yesterday and I found that I ate more yesterday and today especially. I keep telling myself that food isnt the answer, but I guess old habits die hard. But anyway, today I have had three small bowls of cereal, a protein bar, and an ice cream cone (sugar free of course). I have been a pig today. But I am also very sad. My dog was 17 years old, I had him 15 of those 17.

I'm so sorry Jennifer. I know that must be hard. Yes, old habits are definitely hard to break. They say the surgeon can help fix our stomach, but they can't fix our brains. Tomorrow is a fresh new day. I haven't focused on my protein much today myself. I even had a slice of medium thin crust supreme pizza. It didn't affect me physically...but mentally I wanted to kick myself in the rear. I promptly got on the treadmill in hopes of counteracting it.

I am so sorry to hear that I am a huge pet lover. I've had my boys for 16 years and I am almost 27... to the OP. I actually find I eat a little more but i don't think much more. I just stop when I am full or loose interest. I tend to loose interest first. for a quanity idea.. I eat a half mug of soup

went to a dietitian because I was not eating enough. The first few days on the new intake of food was difficult but easier since yesterday. Just different food ...liquid drinks like boost breese which gives me carbs and protein....but yeah eating a little more

Congrats on your success! It's a good thing that you can eat more just be careful. We didn't come this far to backwards. Be careful and take one day at time. I believe that you will be very successful in your journey. Take one day at time.
