Bone Aching???

HI am new to this April 2006 site but I have recently been getting so stiff in the morning when I wake up from bed I feel like an 80 year old woman. It is even in my feet, wrists, etc. I have lost 40 pounds since my April 4 surgery and am getting all my protein, water, etc and taking my chewables. Does anyone have this problem? My back and tail bone are also always killing me. I thought the weight loss would help my back but I feel worse. I even took a Tylenol PM last night to see if it would help but no luck. Anyone else??? Thanks for any replies-Sharon Brown

Ouch, no bone pain after waking up, but my tail sure hurts when I sit in chairs. Maybe you should look into buying one of those matress toppers made of space-foam (or whatever its called). I got one and its heavenly. Give that body the extra padding it has lost.

Right after my surgery my tail bong hurt so bad I hated to even sit on down. It has gotten better since I started moving more, but there are days it still bothers me. Maybe you could try simple stretching before bed and in the morning might help? I know muscle and bones aren't the same but it might be worth a try? For the first time in my life I put on a Yoga channel on FIT TV and did it for 15 minutes it doesn't look like much but I could feel it. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon!

Wow! I don't know what to tell you! I know I get awfully stiff in the mornings when I wake up...hips, knees, back, feet. But after my morning walk, I'm pretty loosened up. I've also noticed that when I sit for a long time at work, without getting up and moving around, I get really stiff...I hobble around for a minute till I get loosened up again. The extra mattress padding sounds like a good idea.
