A little something that i cooked up
I just wanted to share a recipie that i came up with the other night that was SO easy for me to eat and get protien from.....
we shall call it ......
Chicken Stew
1 whole chicken
2 potatos
handfull carrots
1/2 onion
1 tsp minced garlic
1 can low sodium chicken broth
1can cream mushroom
1 can creamof chicken with mushrooms
Salt and pepper to taste
In a crock pot.....Heat up crock pot, add in 1 tsp olive oil and garlic then
Cube the potatos, slice up onion, and throw them in crock pot with handfull carrots. Let cook for about 15 mins. Then add chicken on top(whole) seasoned. Pour in chicken broth. Let cook a couple of hours. Then add in other soups. Let coo****il chicken is coming off bone (about 4-5 hours). At this point i took the chicken out and removed all the bones, then added the chicken peices back in the broth. I let it cook on low for another hour or so.
