help with carbs
I went to my general doctor last night who is sending me to a nutritionist ,but she's not bac****il July 5th, regarding my carb intake....so I was wondering if any of you could help.
I track my food on fitday.com and I am doing great on protein but not so well on carbs....so every few days I have zero energy. The problem is that I eat enough at this point to fill me and get the required protein so I have no idea how to get enough carbs with hardly any room left in this stomach.....any suggestions?
I 'sneak' it in where I can. I eat some carbs at every meal. Breakfast is either cream of wheat or toast ( I can only get about 1/2 serving in at a time). Lunch and supper is either some potatos, triscuit or other crackers, a bit of bread, something like that. I'm not always successful but I try to get in two servings of fruit and 2 cups of milk every day too. (like that always happens! *sarcasm from the 'boss' AKA the pouch). Almost every night at bed time I eat 2 or 3 saltines with peanut butter or 2 or 3 triscuits with cheese, it seems to help stablize my blood sugars).
