This may seem like a silly little goal but I did it last night. I've always wanted those guys border shorts that my girls wear and I've never been able to find any to fit. W-e-l-l.....last night I went shopping and decided to go to one of the stores I usually go with my girls to buy these shorts. I looked and decided maybe it was worth trying them on. Guess what . I got some to fit. I now have border shorts like my kids . I've made one of my goals. Oh and my daughter told me to take one pair back cause they looked to big and get a smaller pair She also said in a month they will be way to big...... Carolyn

Hi Carolyn NO goal is a silly goal! Congratulations!! That's so cool. I remember my daughter wearing board shorts. I don't think I ever thought about wearing them because I never in a million years ever thought it would be possible. hmmmm... LoL. Both of my kids (15 son and 24 daughter) have said things lately that's really touched me in a good way and in a sad way. My son said I've been more fun lately ( went riding 4 wheelers w/him last weekend) than he ever remembers me being. And my daughter said she's looking foward to us going shopping "together" at the mall without her going to many cute stores alone and me going to Lane Bryant. It made me feel good but it also made me feel sad for them because there's soooooo many things they missed out on me doing with them due to my weight and back issues. Soooo... we'll just have to make up for it Again, congratulations!

Thanks so much for your kind words. And going 4 wheelin' - hey that's cool girl. We will be able to do all those cool things with our kids now. We will never get those lost years back but we can certainly enjoy those to come. Carolyn
