stricture and pics

Getting ready for work this morning, I started taking my daily meds... first was my phenegrin (sp), but it got stuck and wouldn't go down or come back up and I couldn't stop throwing up so off to the ER I went. And for those of you that have taken this pill you know exactly how small it is...just to give you an idea of how small my opening had gotten. So, I just got home from the hospital where they dialated my stricture as much as they could. They said there was too much scar tissue to open any further and that the scar tissue will have to be removed. They said it should be o****il I get to my surgeon next week for another endoscopy and for him to figure out what to do. He also said there was so many staples and sutures he was afraid to pu**** I guess my surgeon was gonna make sure my staples didn't open back up..lol...i have pics from the endoscopy if anyone wants to see what 1 looks like... you can email me and i'll email you the pictures. Hi Rose I know strictures are a post-op possibility and I'm sorry you are having to deal with it but man o man.. I sure hope I don't have to. Hopefully what they already did will take care of it so you don't have to go through anything else. Take care!

I just had my third dilation on thursday for a stricture, my surgeon says that it usually takes 2-3 dilations for it to stay open. Each time they dilate me I am a little better. Good luck, you will get better.
