What was on your menu today?

Breakfast - protein bar (20 grams of protein) Lunch - 3 oz chicken Snack - 3 oz yogurt (carb control) dinner will be more chicken and then around bedtime will be a reduced fat string cheese so far i've drank 32 oz of water another 32 to go. Ruth Ann

Thanks for starting this, Amy. Sometimes I feel like everyone has to be eating soooo much more than me.... Of course, having an eating disorder means that other times I feel like I must be pigging out... So this helps. Today 1 extreme smoothie protein shake The inside of a spicy salmon sushi roll - 1 to 2 ounces of salmon with 1 teaspoon of avocado - (couldn't eat the rice) 1 sugar free protein bar 1/2 C mixed beans with 1 tsp of blue cheese salad dressing Midday is the toughest for me. I get very gaseous and nauseated. The sushi didn't work at all well today, but it has been fine at other times. I guess I'll stick to cup-of-soup for lunch tomorrow. Dotsie

8am - 1/2 cup grits with melted cheese and an egg fried in low-fat cooking spray 11am - 1 cup of spinach salad w/boiled egg, cheese & low-fat ranch dressing 2pm - salmon patty, 3 stalks of canned asparagas (cold w/vinegar on it!-YUM) 5pm - quesadilla made w/ 1 whole wheat low carb tortilla, refried beans, shredded cheddar & sour cream 8pm - no sugar added frozen fudgecicle in between meals i had: 10 oz mug of decaf w/soy milk & splenda 11 oz atkins advantage protein shake 60 ounces of water or crystal light and a protein bar we had tropical storm conditions here with wind/rain all day and i was at work 10+ hours (work for insurance company) so the only exercise i got was running my mouth and answering the phone all day . i should have used my gazelle tonight but didn't.

This was my second day without my morning protein drink. I have been to two GNC stores and both were out...of course that is not unusual in New Orleans these days! Anyway it sure has been hard getting in my protein without my drink to supplement. B: 1/2 c Special K Protein cereal w/ 1% milk, 1/2 slice protein fiber toast S: handful of cashews L: 2 oz. of Fuddrucker's chicken breast w/a couple of grilled onion and mushroom slices After work I will probably have some rotisserie chicken with some mayo and ritz crackers. And if I get hungry later in the evening, I will have 1/4 cup of oatmeal. My fave!
