Hello All: Please answer some question for me if you would. I had surgery on April 24th/RNY-LAP. 1). I am already feeling hungry! It is not head hunger...it is true feeling hungry. Has this happened to any of you yet? 2) I never feel full. I don't often go beyond my 1/2 cup of food, I really try to stick to the rules, the few times I did eat more to see if I would feel full...NOTHING!!! I feel not hungry...BUT NEVER FULL. I also feel like I can eat more than the 4 oz and not be effected. I have never dumped or been sick. I feel normal as before...I am just sticking to the rules the best I can but I am afraid my pouch is too big. Like, he did not make it small enough>????? Last but not least....I AM A SLOW LOSER! I have only lost 35 pounds since surgery. And I have platued twice!!!!! Please tell me your thoughts. I would appreciate them. Thanks

I am a few days behind you and I have days when it seems like I can eat all day long and other days when nothing goes down. I think we just have to take it a day at a time! Just eat slow, my doc will have me up to a cup of food in the next two weeks. I haven't felt full yet either, but I have been sick when I ate when I was stressed out!!! Big lesson for me to eat when relaxed and not worried! Good luck and remember we didn't gain this weight overnight it is going to take us time to get it off.- like we all haven't heard that a million and one times, but it is true... I read someplace on here- Nothing tastes as good as THIN feels. I have this posted on my computer at work, a BIG one on my frig at home and one in my car!

You're not a slow loser you seem average. I have only lost about that 33.. and I am 3 days behind you on the april 27. I am starting to be hungry but drinking satisfies me or a breathe mint.

I'm a day behind you and yes I feel hungry also...honest to goodness hunger. Fortuantely I do feel full most of the time (depending on what I'm eating..jello and pudding don't do it as much as real solids) and I try not to pu**** over 4oz. I'm sure a time or two that I've been out to dinner and didn't have my scale handy I probably took a bite I shouldn't have. I also haven't had any dumping or sickness problems and I feel totally normal too. I even told my surgeon that if I hadn't seen the size of my pouch on the x-ray for the leak test I wouldn't have believed he did anything to me. I don't think you're a slow loser....since surgery I've only lost 24lbs, and 16 in the 2 weeks pre-op. I have plateaued once and I think I might be heading into a second since this week was a minimal loss week.

Ok no pun intended here, but go with your gut. I am just a few days ahead of you and have lost 56 pounds. There are days where I can eat and eat and eat, or so it seems. LOL But then there are other days that I cant eat anything. Its nice to stick to the rules, but I imagine you are only getting about 700 calories a day anyway... Even when you "pig out". I try to stay under 1100 calroies. Dont for get to walk also.

1) I get hungry, just about every day, when its time to eat. 2) I get a weird feeling of fullness when I overeat. Its like I get a sharp pain at the top of my boobs. Weird, huh? But when I stick to my 4oz, I don't feel full. I'm a slow loser too! My surgery was a week before yours and I've lost 35 pounds too. I lose about a pound and a half every OTHER week. Which kills me! This is the same rate that I lost weight BEFORE surgery! I'm thinking "what the hell do I need the surgery for, then?!" I'm calling my nutritionist.
