Wow moments
Well I've been pretty busy and haven't been posting much so am trying to catch up with reading everyone's news. Congratulations everyone - you are all doing so well and it is good to see people posting - It's great to share.
Well I've finally given up on my pants.... I was getting afraid that they would fall right off. I started digging around in the closet and found some pants that were so old that the size is worn right off. I think they are either a 20 or 22. Down from a 28. A friend had actually given me some 18+ I tried them but still a little tight for me but getting close. It's hard to believe. I think I'm loosing faster on my bottom then my top though. I've always been top heavy - carry my weight in my tummy and back.
Oh I've also had to box my wedding rings and family ring. I can put my wedding rings on my thumb. I was afraid I was going to loose them. They were falling off.
My highest weight was 288. My surgery weight was 253 so I'm down 39 lbs from surgery date and 75 from highest weight. I'm actually starting to get a lap. My kitty actually walked across my lap the other night instead of my tummy.
I'd love to lose faster of course but I'm happy with my progress - Am hoping to get below 200 if possible by my birthday mid July - not sure if I will make it or not. Wish me luck.

Hi Carolyn,
Sounds like you're doing fantastic! Congratulations!
I had a great week...lost 10#! WOW! My tendency is to lose some weight quickly and then stay at that weight for 1-2 weeks so I'm getting used to it now. I'm feeling pretty good and just started my workouts at Curves. I was able to start wearing my wedding ring again just a week after surgery and can still wear it, but it won't be long now...it's getting loose.
My highest weight was 267 and my surgery weight was 265. Now I'm down to 230 so 35# lost since surgery!
Keep going!
Sharon
