Inches Lost?

We calculated the total pounds lost since our surgeries. Does anyone want to see how many inches were lost? I've lost 20.5 inches since surgery, Neck, Bust, Waist, Hips, thighs, Calf, Bicep, and forearm. Jeanne

See this is where I get so confused!!!! I have only lost 37 pounds since my operation but I have lost over 40 total inches in the Neck..bust.. waist.. hips.. thighs..calf..bicep and forearm. How is it that I can lose so many inches but not so much weight? Does this seem odd to anyone else? Take care and many hugs... Tracee

Are you counting both sides (like both arms and both legs)...if so that could by why it seems so high. When my doctor's office measures us they only count one side. If that is only once side then congrats to you! I've lost 12.75 inches

I haven't been meassuring.. I should be but I am not.

hehe that would make sense.. but alas no.. I only measure my right side. Hubby is military so he is the one that does all of the measuring for me... knowing to do it at the precise same spots for each reading. He also says that if you measure yourself you won't get accurate readings.. so each time he does it for me. But still I don't know how I have lost so many inches but not so much weight.
