I have been so very blessed through this process -- my DS surgery was perfect and my recovery excellent! I have been complication free. (Well the kidney stones were awful -- but could have happend to me with or without the DS.) And, of course, I'm blessed to have my OH family! I had a little seroma but it was with me for such a short time -- I didn't even get to name the little bugger. I'm happy as I can be with my results. And, since I'm a light weight, I think I'm doing great. So my 2 month loss -- is 12 pounds. For a total of - 42 pounds! I'm hoping to get under 200 this month -- not sure if that's going to happen, but it could. Especially if I actually dieted. I'm eating whatever I want, just making sure to get in my protein and, of course, all my supplements! Hope you are all doing as well! Lola

Hi Lola, You have done great so far and it will only keep getting better I have had no complications although I have been in that "why did I do this stage" back and forth for weeks. I am thankful for this tool but I still miss certain things that I cannot do or eat anymore...I know that shall pass. My two months will be on Saturday. I have lost 46 pounds and I am at 187 right now....lets pray for a quick goal weight!!! Amy

Thanks Amy It sounds like you are doing awesome! 46 # in 2 months is great! I have read about the 'missing foods' part of the surgery and I hope that it will pass very soon for you. Lola
