I just found this April 2006 board! Hello!

Hi Sharon, Welcome... I had my surgery on April 25th also. I'm down 35 lbs and enjoying every minute of it. My PCP told me today that I can discontinue taking my blood pressure pills... just a little wow moment of mine. Hope everything is going well for you. Darla

Well howdy fellow Oregonian! I don't know where Fall Creek is but happy to know I have a fellow Oregonian with the same surgery date! I also have been doing pretty good...not as much weight lost as you but am down 28# and feeling very good. I also am off my BP meds, GERD meds and hope to be off CPAP before too long. Thanks for sending me a note. I hope we can keep in touch...I like to watch others progress also to kind of measure mine (even though I know we're all different and we're going to lose differently) Have a great evening! Sharon

Hello Everyone, I'm more of a lurker...but also addicted. I had my surgery 4/25 that makes 6 weeks yesterday and I'm down 42 pounds!! I'm so excited! It is great to hear from everyone as we go through this journey together. Nice meeting all of you! Lisa
