WOW Moment
I am officially 7 weeks out today and down 50 pounds. That in itself was kind of a "Wow" for me.
Yesterday, when I weighed and saw 50 pounds gone, I went to my jewelry box and got out my charm bracelet. I love this bracelet and havent been able to get it on my fat wrist for well over a year. Well, it just slid right on and I wore it so proudly all day yesterday (and today!).

thank you.
The biggest problem I had was naseau in the morning, but I got that solved by drinking a cup of tea or coffee the minute I get up. As far as I can tell, it was sinus drainage building up in the pouch while I slept that caused it and the hot liquid flushes the pouch out so I dont feel sick anymore.
My FAVORITE protein is Apple Nectar Ectasy that I buy at vitalady. I LOVE this stuff and drink at least two scoops a day (one between breakfast and lunch and one between dinner and bedtime). At 23g of protein per scoop, that gets me well on my way to my daily allowance!
Probably my favorite high protein meal is low sugar spaghetti sauce with crumbled ground beef and a big sprinkle of parmesian cheese. I dont even miss the pasta. I've also gotten addicted to BlueBunny Carb Freedom smoothies and South Beach Protein Bars (the cinnamin raisin is so good it shouldnt be allowed!).

Congratulations Lisa! That's great to be able to wear something that means so much. I hadn't been able to wear my wedding ring for quite a while and now can (at least for a few weeks until I get too small for it...then will have to put it away until I lose all my weight and then can get it resized)
WAY TO GO!!!
High Lisa - You are doing GREAT Girl You should be really proud of yourself. Thanks for the tip re the spagetti sauce. I've tried pasta a few times and honestly it tastes tasteless in 2 seconds with the chewing. I've actually said that food has no pleasure to me anymore cause it just tastes so bland. Maybe your idea of just the sauce and meat would be so much better. I try it - and who needs the pasta anyway....
