My 40th Birthday
I turned 40 yesterday. I went to the Doctor on Thursday and at 6 weeks out from surgery I've lost 41 lbs. whoohoo ! It feels great. I got my clearance to start using the gym and I have no more restrictions.
I went to Creating Keepsakes Scrapbooking Convention yesterday for my Birthday. I had a great time. We went out to lunch at a restaurant that serves breakfast all day so I got scrambled eggs. It felt good to go out and eat and be able to pick something from the menu, I was afraid there wasn't going to be anything for me to eat. The waitress kept asking if I wanted something to drink and I kept saying no thank you. I think they thought I didn't have enough money or something.... then she said well we can bring you water LOL! I said No thanks... I can't drink when I eat. I guess that is very strange for a waitress.
My Hubby Dude gave me money to spend at the convention but I didn't buy much so after dinner we went to Walmart and I got a pair of shorts since I needed them in a 22/24 now and I bought a cute outfit that's a skort and sleevless polo shirt. It's a 22/24 but is tight so that should fit nice soon 
I only lasted a few hours at the convention though. I had a tote bag with some stuff in it that must have been too heavy for me. It started to bug my back and then I started to feel tugging in my abdominal muscles around the incision so I figured it was time to go. I was able to walk around the entire convention... walk to lunch and back and not feel too tired and NOT SWEAT. THAT was a big one for me! A big difference already!
I hope the convention comes back next year then I'll really be able to do more

I went out of town last weekend and had the same experience with restaurants I went to. When you order one egg for breakfast and nothing to drink, you get a "huh" look..lol. One waitress kept asking if I was sure. I finally explained and she was so happy for me. Although I didn't have to explain, it'll help her be more understanding when she sees others eating in similar ways.
I'm sweating less too . I'm glad you had an enjoyable birthday.
