Two months post op
I have not been on in a while. But I am so glad I had the surgery. I only weigh when I go to the doctor or nutritionist. I have lost 40 pounds as of last Thursday. But the best part is that my blood sugar has dropped by 15 points. My cholesterol is down and my blood pressure is down. I am walking and will start a strength training class next week. I feel great. I have had no complications with the surgery or food tollerances.
Even if I don't lose another pound, (but of course I will) I am so grateful that I has WLS. Hurray for Modern Medical Technology.

Congrats on your weight loss! That's fantastic! Mine was the day before yours and I've lost a grand total of 44lbs (by my scale..my surgeons would say39lbs). I feel the EXACT same way. I really feel this has saved my life. Prior to surgery, I was on blood pressure meds, and didn't walk AT all. Now, I'm off all my bp meds, I go for bloodwork in 2 weeks, so we'll see how my cholesterol and all of that is doing. I walk 45 minutes a day, sometimes 45 min.twice a day. I just feel so much better. Even after losing what I have, I'm amazed at how much energy I have. Its an awesome thing, and I thank God that I made the decision to do this.
