Memorial Day! Good Morning!!

Good morning friends! Today is a beautiful day. We are going to cook hamburger patties on the grill this afternoon and go to the river to play. Maybe do some fishing! I am really excited to be able to spend this time with my family. I wish that I didn't have to work full time, as I would love to be able to spend a lot more time with my kids while they are still in school. My daughter is a Senior now and before I know it, she will be trying to move out. I just have to make the best of it even though I have to work full time. Right? What are you planning on doing today? Hi Kari I wish I could say I did something fun..lol. I was off work but was sick all weekend and I layed on the couch and watched TV all day Monday. I wore my and pretended I was laying by the pool . I still have an infection and it's really made me blah. BUT.. I thought about having fun . This was a nice post... sorry no one else has replied to it. I know what you mean about working and kids. I have since my oldest was a baby. Now she's 24 and has been in the military for 6 years. And I have a 15 year old son. Growing up, I tried to fill our evenings, weekends, vacations & holidays with quality time. And my daughter played softball throughout elementary, jr. high and high school so I was always active in that. Seems the older I get, the less time I have for anything *sigh*. Maybe I'm just tired .
