Those numbers on the scale can make use crazy. I have decided to focus on 10 percent of my body weight. I started out at 364 and I am now at 332 so I have lost 32 pounds. I lost 28 of that the second week after surgery. Until two days ago I had stopped losing. However, I am getting close to 10 percent of my body weight. For every 10 percent it adds years to my life so I think that is reason to celebrate. There is NO WAY this weight is not coming off. I just have to keep doing the right things increase my exercise be aware of my food and when and what I am eating and trust my body to do the rest.
This is easier said than done but I am so happy I made the choice to have the surgery and I feel so much better. I am off my blood pressure medicine! I am walking!
I feel great!
Hang in there it will move again and when it does you will really see it in your body!

I am so happy you posted this....I was truly beginnig to feel like I was going to be the first recorded FAILURE after having WLS. I too lost 22lbs in my first 3 weeks, and now at 6 weeks, I've only lost a total of 27lbs. What's going on??? Iknow I should have lost more than this. I drink my water, I exercise for 1 1/2hrs 6x a week, I take all of my vitamins, and I'm getting in about 80 grams of protein and 600-800 calories a day. I'm not going to make a big fuss over it, I know I must keep doing what I'm doing and be patient.
