STRAWS OR NO STRAWS

I was told not to use a straw because the extra air causes the pouch to get bigger. I did not have the surgery to turn around and ruin it by using a straw so I have not done that. However, I never cared about straws one way or the other. However, I am really ready for some Lobster pizza! I also talked to my nutritionist and she told me that I was only suppose to be on pureed soups not all foods. I have not beeen able to stick to that. I am 4 weeks out of surgery and I had to have something more so I have had cottage cheese, pureed chicken, salmon, and egg salad. I also have had mashed potatoes. However, I am sticking to about 1/4 to 1/3 cup. When I stick to the soups I was sick at my stomach daily. I am also having a little trouble with the protien drinks. They did not bother me at first but now the make me feel sick if I put in the correct amount of protien powder.
