How much protein are you getting in? water?

I am getting anywhere from 40-60g per day. I finally found a protein drink that I can tolerate with 25g of protein. I only have one in the morning. All other protein is from food. For the past couple of weeks, I have really been able to get a lot more water in. I am drinking about 60-80 ounces a day now.

I am aiming for 80 I usually come in about 70-80 most from the protien shake I choke down..

Depending on the day, I get between 70 and 90 grams of protein in, some from food, other from protein shakes. As for fluids, I'm normally around 70 oz. Melissa

I am averaging about 100-110g of protein a day right now. 75g comes from protein shakes. I drink one when I get up, one mid day, and one before bed. The rest of my protein comes from my food. I try to get in 90oz of water a day, but sometimes I stall around 80oz. Ideally I would like to get in 96oz a day, but that just hasnt happened yet.

On average, I would say that I get 80-90g of protein per day... I try to go for 3 protein shakes, but I almost always get two. Most of what I eat is protein based. I'm in love with cottage cheese and refried beans at this point. Most meals include one or the other or both. Water, I'm getting at least 60 per day, sometimes more. Today I know I got at least 70. I'm aiming for at least 100 per day, but I've got to work up to it. Two weeks ago I was having a TOUGH time getting in 30 a day, then a week ago I was having problems getting in 45-50, so I'm improving. Been great with the vitamins and such, but I'm on this anti-gallstone medication that has to be crushed and mixed with food... it is HORRIBLE, and I am constantly forgetting it. The surgeon told me that I have a 20% chance of getting gallstones if I don't take it and a 4% chance of getting them if I DO take it. Then he described the surgery that they had to do to get the gallstones out if they appeared . I'll suffer the medicine for now I guess! Julie 399/371/348/160

I get 90 g per day from my protein drinks. I have them morning, mid day and evening. I make them so they are 30 g each. I've had no problems with my protein drinks at all, I like them. I must be strange because I don't think I've heard anyone say that they actually like them. I eat protein at every meal too. Lizzie

Psssttt...Lizzie..... I like them too! My favorite has been Sci Fit but haven't run across any that I truly :hate: I ordered a huge sampler box and am working my way through it, one shake at a time. we can start our own support group! Those who like their protein shakes!!! We'll be unique! Melissa

I drink Designer Whey chocolate which is really good in a blender with a few ice cubes or I drink Optinum Nutirition (I think it just says ON on the label) Whey protein in Vanilla. I have sugar free DaVinci flavored syrups that I can flavor the vanilla one with if I get bored with it - but I like it just plain vanilla too. I LOVE the Designer Whey Chocolate though - it's so good. You can buy samples to try different protein shakes at www.vitalady.com I've been buying the containers of protein powder at GNC because it was cheaper as they were on sale and I have the GNC Gold Card where I get 20% off (even off sale prices) on the 1st through the 7th of the month. When they're not on sale thought it's cheaper at Vitalady. Lizzie
